Eschenbach Bavaria-Germany 42pc
|
1950s
Made by Eschenbach in Bavaria, Germany competitor of Rosenthal, Villeroy&Boch, Nymphenburg, Hutschenreuther , founded in 1906 by Kommerzienrat Haberländer in Windischeschenbach, and producing fine porcelain until today (see www.eschenbach-porzellan.de). |

This set of fine German porcelain has been in my family for decades, being reserved for very special occasions. The condition of all pieces is more than EXCELLENT, with the gold rims perfectly intact. Its style is influenced by the 1930s and 1950s tradition, yet remains a timeless classic. Ivory (off-white) in color, the set features a subtle foliage design which comes across as a fine decorative pattern, reminiscent of the Asian origins of delicate bone china.

The set consists of 42 pieces:

Delicate design in natural colors. |
|
Serving platter in foreground. |

The condition is superior to excellent.
As far as I see, there is only one tiny-tiny chip on the border of one plate, and one chip at the snout of the second creamer.
